We currently have an opening for a Senior Sales professional to help grow our organization to the "next level." STEELMAN Software Sales Territory Manager opportunity for highly motivated, technically oriented individuals who demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The position requires the ability to understand customer requirements and the application of STEELMAN products to provide solutions

The Software Sales Territory Manager's responsibility is to work within a geographic territory and increase NEW business sales. They will be expected to develop new business sales via STEELMAN's marketing efforts (i.e. provided leads, downloads, trade shows, direct mail, advertising, e-mail blasts, etc). In addition, they will also be expected to develop relationships through referrals, cross-selling opportunities, trade associations, training and consulting opportunities and other self-generated and creative means.

The ideal candidate must be able to generate leads and call on current and future clients. Using solution-selling methodology, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and determining the best solutions for customers by selling services and products to maximize ROI, in conjunction with other senior members of the professional team.

Candidates must offer a proven record of success selling ERP software solutions. Experience selling software to the mid-market is required. Experience selling software into the metal industry would be desirable. Knowledge of steel service center solutions would also be a plus.

Qualifications Required:

  1. We require people that can hit the ground running, with minimal supervision, so we need at least 5+ years of success in selling custom software solutions, technical product sales or a business development professional.
  2. The ideal candidate will have the ability to penetrate large accounts at the Director, VP, CIO and Owner levels
  3. Record of accomplishment of quota and sales achievement - minimum $1 million per year selling software and professional services
  4. Proven track record closing sales $150k to $500k+
  5. Experience in consultative selling to high-end mid-market organizations ($200 million & up)
  6. Proven "hunter" discipline - ability to bring in new business versus sell into existing customer base
  7. In depth understanding of the relationships between the following business functions: G/L & Financial Reporting, Sales & Accounts Receivable, Purchasing & Accounts Payable, Inventory, and Distribution; Manufacturing a plus
  8. Strong and precise written and verbal communication skills
  9. Appropriate executive level presence and presentation skills
  10. Work resourcefully in a somewhat non-structured, creative environment
  11. Complete familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

ORACLE DEVELOPER

We are currently looking for an experienced Oracle Developer. As part of the Systems Development team, this role will be contributing high quality analysis and code in the development of Business Solutions, ensuring that solutions fit into the overall project design. Expectations also include technical analysis of business requirements, technical documentation, testing, designing and developing back-end and Front-end applications.
  • Extensive experience in the following:
    • Oracle 10g database
    • PL/SQL
    • Oracle Internet Developer Suite 10g, in particular forms, reports, discoverer, and jdeveloper
    • Oracle Application Server 10g release 2
    • Oracle Portal
  • General understanding of data modeling concepts; application design.
  • Experience working in a large development project in a team environment.
  • Strong English communication and analytical skills.
Only Oracle certified  programmers will be considered.  DBA experience will be an asset.
